Domaine Richou Anjou Chauvigne Blanc 2017The estate, managed by the brother Richou, is known for outstanding Anjou chenin blanc. The Chauvigne fruit comes mostly from a vineyard called Violettes rich in volcanic schist soils. Hand harvested and made mostly in tank with 20% seeing old oak barrels. A tasty chenin with purity, freshness, briny minerality, high toned citrus and yellow fruit and a lengthy finish.
